Frana BA Consulting

You, me, us, and all white folks, are consistently causing harm by nature of existing within and continuing to perpetuate white supremacy.

Wherever you are in your awareness and action journey, you can access spaces where you can process, learn, practice, and reframe with accountability, grace, and compassion in the company of others who are trying.

Whether you hear it from Frana or visit the resources tab to explore other opportunities, I am excited to hear about the next steps in your healing journey.

Community Feedback Form

We do this work to hold ourselves and other white folks who want to show up for racial justice accountable to healing from internalized white supremacy culture, to redistributing white wealth by paying reparations, and to ongoing community conversations.

This community feedback form is a space for anyone who is in community with us to leave us a message with concerns, point to harm we have committed, and offer feedback, suggestions, recommendations, or community conversation.

Community members can write a message or leave us a voice message. Both forms will alert us with an email so we can prioritize acknowledging your feedback.

What is a Community White Caucus?

There are white folks all over trying to figure out their identity, culture, and grapple with the intellectual part of anti-racism work. However, there are less folks who are willing to examine their emotional responses to marginalization, sit with the harm they have caused, and move through that stage to become active participants in anti-racist work. This space allowed white folks to react emotionally, name their physical sensations, relate those sensations to feelings, and explore where those feelings come from. The caucus was the first time I felt both validated in my journey as well as held accountable for growth by other white folks.
— Hannah, Caucus Participant

Reparations and Redistributing White Wealth

The first priority of my business is to redistribute white wealth.

The second is to provide a space where white folks’ commitment and relationships can grow.

I am not the expert and the knowledge I have is based upon the labor of folks of the global majority of multiple identities.

Therefore, a minimum of 50% of all proceeds paid to me for these spaces, goes directly to Black and Indigenous individuals in Alaska.

The maximum amount I will pay myself is $50-60/caucus.

Sliding Scale Payment Options

You choose what the caucuses are worth to you and you pay whenever you are ready.

I am committed to removing barriers to these spaces. We need everyone in this movement, and less barriers to access information. My business is designed to support all ranges of the sliding scale. This is not a discount, but rather an equitable price range that adjusts to the income of the attendee. Please read below to find the best fit for you.

Who We Are

Frana is a racial justice consultant who holds white caucus spaces with the intent to build a community of white folks that are willing to show up for our kin and relatives of the global majority by healing ourselves from internalized white supremacy.

Frana opens community white caucus spaces for well-meaning white folks who want to show up for racial justice and need space to process, unlearn, and hold themselves accountable to continuing to notice the characteristics of white supremacy culture and how they reinforce systems of oppression. Frana is not teaching or training, but rather holding space for white folks to awaken to a new understanding of their reality and begin to see the harm they have caused and how to transform shame into action.

Frana is not the expert of anything racial justice, it’s impossible to be as a white person of many privileges. Frana is answering the call of our kin of the global majority who have asked white folks to hold spaces for other white folks to practice without causing incidental harm to anyone in the space.

Han Harp-Boue (they/them)

Frana BA (any pronouns)

Frana smiles and points at the dock where they grew up processing Alaskan salmon with family.

Han is a community resource advocate, practicing yogi and yoga teacher, and Executive Assistant to Frana BA. Han's role is to create ease for Frana through coordinating administrative tasks such as technical assistance, creating slide decks, writing newsletters, creating graphics, handling tech issues during events, responding to emails, drafting outreach, and less detail-oriented things like strategic planning, thought partnership, and dreaming new possibilities.

From a legacy of academic teachers, Han has been using embodiment to move beyond intellectual awareness and into action in their community resource advocacy. Training to be a yoga teacher was revolutionary for Han's learning style and allowed their purpose to serve their community by teaching yoga to slowly reveal itself. Han completed their 200 hour YTT certification in May 2024 with Jacie Sturm at Fairbanks Yoga, learning Vinyasa Yoga and Hands-On Assists.

Han’s yoga is rooted in community. While Han enjoys practicing alone occasionally, they prefer to practice in community and teach yoga to foster curiosity about yoga and the healing power of breath and intentional space. Han keeps coming back for that special post-Savana glow and feels that the rest feels best after hard work. Their classes will include intentional breathwork (pranayamas), physical poses (asana) to build heat in the body, and a guided reflection or meditation for self-study (svadhyaya). Han's mission is to lift the veil of misconception about yoga, and therefore about ourselves, by providing more than a physical practice.
